Abstract

This application discloses a locking device and an electric vehicle comprising it. The locking device comprises: a housing with a front end wall, a rear end wall, and a side wall extending between the front and rear end walls; a drive assembly arranged within the housing; a locking rod configured to extend out of the housing from the front end wall under the drive of the drive assembly to provide a locking function; a first connecting element with a first front end attached near the front end wall, a first rear end attached to the rear end wall, and a first body extending between the first front end and the first rear end and attached to the side wall;a second terminal element spaced apart from the first terminal element, and comprising a second front end attached near the front end wall, a second rear end attached to the rear end wall, and a second body extending between the second front end and the second rear end and attached to the side wall; and a switch configured to move under the drive of the drive assembly into a conductive position in which the switch simultaneously contacts the first front end and the second front end when the locking function is achieved.
