SEAL FOR A BEARING AND THE SEAL ENSUREING BEARING

Abstract

The present disclosure provides a seal for insertion between an inner ring and an outer ring of a bearing, wherein the bearing has a radial direction and an axial direction, and wherein the seal comprises: a sealing lip having: an annular end face extending generally in the axial direction; and a first inclined side face inclined with respect to the axial direction, facing the interior of the bearing and connected to the annular end face, wherein the first inclined side face has a contact section located near the annular end face to contact the sealing surface of the inner ring or the outer ring. The sealing lip structure of the seal of the present disclosure is optimally designed not only to solve the problem of rapid tearing and damage of the sealing lip, but also to avoid the risk of separation line detachment.At the same time, the present disclosure further optimizes the behavior of the seal under load and the sealing performance of the sealing lip and the seal as a whole, thereby not only extending the service life of the seal but also improving bearing operation.
