PRESSURE-ACTIVE VALVE AND SYSTEM FOR PROCESSING EVAPORATED FUEL

Abstract

The present invention relates to a pressure-operated valve designed with a cost-effective and simple structure for performing opening and closing operations. The valve comprises a housing in which a valve chamber forms a fluid passage between a first port and a second port for a first fluid. A pressure supply chamber, separate from the valve chamber and filled with a second fluid, is pressurized via a pressure supply port. A pressure-receiving element has a pressure-receiving surface, and a diaphragm displaces in response to pressure transmitted by the second fluid. A valve element arranged in the valve chamber is coupled to the diaphragm and opens or closes the fluid passage according to the diaphragm displacement, while an elastic element biases the valve element in a closing direction.
