Abstract
A transceiver (4) connected to an onboard communication line (5) contains a sensing unit (431) configured to detect standardized signals transmitted over the onboard communication line. The standardized signals are standardized on the onboard communication line and include a first activation signal and a second activation signal. After the sensing unit detects the first activation signal on the onboard communication line, the transceiver is configured to become fully activated in response to the sensing unit detecting the second activation signal on the onboard communication line within a predetermined time interval after detecting the first activation signal. The second activation signal is different from the first activation signal and contains identification information for identifying the transceiver.
