Abstract

The invention relates to a clip (102) for attaching a substrate (104) with a hole (106) to a carrier (304) that carries a pin (302). The clip (102) has a top (116), a bottom (118), and a main body (108) comprising separate sectors (502) with gripping arms (110) that form a cylindrical channel (114) designed to hold the pin (302) when the pin (302) is inserted into the cylindrical channel (114) from the bottom (118). The sectors (502) are separated from each other by radial gaps (508) and connected to each other by elastic sections (512a). The radial distances (508) and elastic sections (512a) connect the sectors (502) elastically and allow the gripping arms (110) to grip the substrate (104) when the cylindrical channel (114) is inserted into the hole (106) from the top (116).
