Abstract
An imaging device 1 comprises: a first camera 12 and a second camera 22, each sensitive to invisible light; a first and a second irradiation unit 11, 21, configured to irradiate the imaging area of the first and second cameras, respectively, with invisible light; and a control unit 40 configured to control the cameras and the irradiation units. An irradiation area of invisible light by the first irradiation unit partially overlaps an irradiation area of invisible light by the second irradiation unit. An image captured by the first camera has a higher capture priority than an image captured by the second camera.The control unit is configured to perform control such that in an imaging cycle, a first irradiation / exposure period by the first irradiation unit and the first camera and a second irradiation / exposure period by the second irradiation unit and the second camera do not overlap, and the first irradiation / exposure period in the imaging cycle is changed according to a value of a dynamic range in the image taken by the first camera.
