Abstract

A pressure-operated valve comprises a housing, a first valve chamber formed within the housing, a pressure supply chamber formed within the housing, a diaphragm arranged in an interior of the housing and featuring a pressure-receiving element, a first port formed within the housing, a second port formed within the housing, a first valve body arranged within the first valve chamber, and a pressure relief mechanism. A first fluid is supplied to the first valve chamber, while a second fluid is supplied to the pressure supply chamber. The diaphragm is configured to displace depending on the pressure of the second fluid. The valve body is integrated with the diaphragm and is configured to move in an opening direction when the diaphragm displaces, thereby forming a main passage that extends through the first valve chamber.The pressure release mechanism is configured to release the pressure of the first fluid applied to the first port in a state where the valve body is closed.
