Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a cladding element for freestanding objects or sculptures, or objects or sculptures on or near buildings or structures that are directly or indirectly attached to them or arranged, in a sense, freestanding manner in niches or open spaces on or near buildings or structures, and to a method for manufacturing a cladding element for objects or sculptures. It is intended for use on objects or sculptures, in particular on historical freestanding objects or sculptures, or on or near corresponding buildings or structures, where flood protection and / or facade cladding elements have not previously been feasible or sufficiently effective due to the structured and fragmented surfaces with, for example, numerous decorations and steps. The aim is to protect the respective object or sculpture all around and along its entire height over a distance of several meters.Furthermore, the cladding element should be integrable into the flood protection system of the rest of the building or structure. The invention relates to protection against flooding and thus its use against inundations and flooding, as well as against weather influences such as precipitation and its effects, particularly in winter. Climate change is exacerbating risk scenarios for park operators, municipalities, and other public or private entities responsible for objects or sculptures, whether freestanding or attached to or near buildings or structures. In particular, heavy rainfall events are increasing in frequency and intensity, leading to widespread flooding, which in turn causes flooding in rivers and streams, even in areas not directly affected by the heavy rain. Massive amounts of precipitation in a short period, which can increase the water volume in any body of water many times over, flood properties, generate mudslides, damage buildings, and destroy spaces and equipment / inventory. Added to this are the effects that the weather has on freestanding objects or sculptures throughout the year. Especially with sculptures, some of which are very old works of art, damage from flooding and weathering must be avoided at all costs, as such damage, if repaired at all, would be extremely expensive and costly. Likewise, restoration or repair of objects would only be possible with considerable effort and significant financial expenditure. The protection of objects or sculptures, whether freestanding or attached to or near buildings or structures, can only be achieved through personal precautions, as insurance, if available, is unaffordable due to the value of the items to be insured. Cladding elements for freestanding objects or sculptures are already known. German patent DE 10 2016 005 244.9 discloses a device and its use for weather protection of sculptures, consisting of a substructure and an upper structure. The substructure remains permanently in the ground and has four sleeves anchored above a framework. The upper structure consists of two intersecting brackets fixed to the substructure and a cover that can be pulled over or placed around the brackets. Also known are enclosures for protection against the elements, which have been constructed from wood year after year. DE 10 2008 030 599 A1 further discloses a device for protecting a three-dimensional object. According to the invention, a weather-resistant, multi-layered, stable protective cover is applied to the object, enclosing it and replicating its contours. The elaborately constructed, multi-layered device also has ventilation channels and is not sealed at the bottom. A specific seal between the parts of the device is not disclosed. Likewise, the device does not enclose the object directly but with a gap. DE 20 2014 011 185 U1 discloses a three-dimensional sculpture based on a living model, which is produced through successive steps, namely creating a virtual three-dimensional image by scanning the object, processing the scan into a realistic virtual copy of the original object, producing a reduced-size 3D model by freeform surface milling, producing a model bust or characteristic parts of the sculpture at a scale of 1:1, producing a casting model, producing a mold using the casting model, casting the mold, and post-treatment of the casting. The object of the invention is therefore to create a cladding element for objects or sculptures, freestanding or attached to or near buildings or structures, and a method for producing a cladding element for corresponding objects or sculptures, which is adapted to the special features of the surface or the structure and shape of an object or sculpture and can be easily installed with minimal assembly measures and can be used as weather protection and / or as a flood protection element and / or can be combined with a facade cladding element as a flood protection element or can be integrated into a flood protection arrangement using a facade cladding element. As a first aspect of the invention, in the specified application, a cladding element for objects or sculptures, whether freestanding or attached to buildings or structures, is achieved. This cladding element comprises at least two cladding element sections, which can be arranged around or attached to the respective object or sculpture. The cladding element sections can be combined and / or detachably connected to one another via connection areas at outer edges or border regions. The connection areas of connectable or combinable cladding element sections form or comprise a seal and / or a sealing section, or have a seal and / or a sealing section. The surface of each cladding element section facing the respective object or sculpture is adapted to the object or sculpture in the area of the respective cladding element. Likewise, the cladding element is designed to connect to a foundation, plinth, or ground sealing element. The invention relates to a cladding element with at least two cladding element sections for a tamper-proof protective system for objects or sculptures, freestanding or attached to or near buildings or structures, which can naturally have different shapes and sizes. The cladding element with at least two cladding element sections partially or partially reproduces the entire surface, facade, contour, or surface structure of the object or sculpture as a negative image on the inside of the cladding element with at least two cladding element sections and can be assembled or combined by means of the respective cladding element sections to act as a kind of sealing enclosure or covering with a smooth outer surface. In this process, projections, indentations, protrusions, cornices, depressions, holes, and similar features on the inside or on the surface of the respective cladding element sections facing the object or sculpture are taken into account. The at least two cladding element sections can be connected or screwed together and aligned without ongoing intervention in the building structure and in a self-sealing manner. The respective cladding element sections have circumferential sealing connection areas with preferably one, two or more triangular or otherwise shaped grooves for better cohesion. The individual cladding element sections can be manufactured using 3D printing, for example, and due to their low weight, they are easy to handle without technical equipment and can be assembled by just one person. Advantageously, the individual cladding element sections can be manufactured in a single layer, monolithically, or as a single piece from one material or material mixture. The surface facing the respective object or sculpture can also have an elastic or shock-absorbing coating or backing. Recycled plastic, for example, can be used as a material, which simplifies cleaning during dismantling. The invention conserves resources and protects the environment through its durability and is reusable. A second aspect of the invention relates to a method for manufacturing a cladding element for objects or sculptures, freestanding or attached to or near buildings or structures, wherein a spatial and / or planar scanning or detection of the surface or facade or contour or surface structure or shape of the respective object or sculpture is carried out, or that spatial and / or planar data of the surface or facade or contour or surface structure or shape of the respective object or sculpture are provided.Based on spatial and / or area scanning or acquisition, or the provided data, a negative image or complementary image of the surface, facade, contour, surface structure, or shape of the building or structure, divided into at least two cladding element sections, is produced in its original size. This image is then used as a cladding element with surfaces facing the respective object or sculpture. Furthermore, connection areas are provided and / or arranged at least at mutually facing or aligned outer edges or end faces of the at least two cladding element sections. Seals or sealing sections are provided and / or arranged between the at least two cladding element sections, and a bottom sealing element is provided and / or arranged for connection to a foundation or plinth. Advantageously, this method allows for the production of precise replicas of the surface, facade, contour, surface structure, or shape of the respective object or sculpture as distributed cladding element sections. This ensures that the cladding element sections lie flat against the surface, facade, contour, surface structure, or shape of the object or sculpture, thus avoiding pressure points. The resulting cladding element sections achieve a uniform force distribution across the surface or facade of the object or sculpture.Furthermore, any unevenness, depressions or protrusions or other disturbances in the surface or facade or contour or surface structure or shape of the respective object or sculpture can be taken into account. In addition, seals or sealing sections are already provided during manufacturing for the connection areas between the cladding element sections and the foundation or base, so that during assembly, a seal is already in place simply by arranging the cladding element sections without any additional effort, and potentially penetrating water can initially be prevented. The invention relates to a tamper-proof protective system against flooding and weathering, consisting of individual cladding element sections, serving as a protective enclosure for objects or sculptures, whether freestanding or attached to buildings or structures. The cladding element, comprising at least two sections, replicates the surface or facade of the respective object or sculpture as a negative image on the inner surface of each section, acting as a kind of sealing enclosure or covering with a smooth outer surface. The inner surface, or the surface facing the object or sculpture, of each cladding element section incorporates projections, indentations, protrusions, cornices, depressions, holes, and similar features. The individual cladding element sections thus form a kind of second skin around the respective object or sculpture. The special configuration of the individual cladding element sections makes them rigid and strong, and their smooth outer surface repels debris, such as driftwood. Advantageously, the individual cladding element sections are arranged closely or tightly against the respective object or sculpture in order to distribute the pressure of floodwater across the surface. The cladding element, with at least two sections forming a protective enclosure, is intended to prevent the ingress of water or weathering. The cladding element sections, designed to be arranged vertically and / or horizontally, are screwed or connected together in a self-sealing manner without requiring any ongoing intervention in the building structure. Advantageously, or optionally, the visible joints are additionally or optionally sealed with a sealing tape. The surrounding sealing connection areas on the respective cladding element sections are preferably equipped with one, two, or more triangular grooves for improved adhesion. The multiple screws or connections between the respective cladding element sections are located in the connection areas. For example, a pre-installed sealing strip may be provided for connection to a foundation or base, which is permanently anchored to the respective foundation or base or object or sculpture and acts as a decorative strip, and only on or to which the cladding element sections are initially mounted or attached. Advantageous embodiments of the aspects of the invention are presented in the dependent claims. By ensuring that the surface of each cladding element section facing the respective object or sculpture is adapted to, or follows, or is complementary to, the surface, facade, contour, surface structure, or shape of the respective object or sculpture, local force maxima (pressure points) and cavities that would otherwise lead to local force maxima (pressure points) or localized surface pressure elsewhere are avoided. Advantageously, the pressure exerted by water at a sufficient height and / or by floating debris is distributed evenly across the object or sculpture. Furthermore, the respective cladding element sections are subjected to full surface stress and not just point-by-point stress by the respective object or sculpture or its surface or facade on the back side. By having connecting areas to adjacent, interconnected, or combinable facade cladding elements that are at least partially planar, flat, curved, skew, angled, and / or angular, and / or rectangular, square, trapezoidal, or triangular in plan or cross-section, the cladding element sections can be arranged in adjacent areas, or be connected or combined with each other, and the surface of the respective facade cladding element facing the building or structure or facade is adapted to the surface, contour, surface structure, or shape of the building or structure or facade, or follows the surface, contour, surface structure, or shape of the building or structure or facade, or is complementary to the building or structure or facade, a uniform appearance can be achieved alongside the respective objects or sculptures. To establish comprehensive and continuous flood protection for the respective building or structure, whereby the flood protection for the respective building or structure is also adapted to the special features of the surface of the building or structure or the facade. By having the connection areas of adjacent, interconnected, or combined cladding element sections and / or facade cladding elements butt against each other, overlap, or lie on top of each other and be complementary to each other, a simple assembly and combination of the cladding element sections and / or facade cladding elements without additional components is facilitated. By having the connection areas of the cladding element adjacent to or connected or combinable or linked or combined cladding element sections and / or facade cladding elements butt-jointly and connected with at least one connecting strip or at least one connecting bridge, differently designed connection areas or mirrored opposite connection areas can be reliably connected. By having the connection areas of the cladding element directly or indirectly form a seal and / or a sealing section and / or an overlapping sealing tape at the transition points as connection areas of the respective cladding element sections and / or facade cladding elements, the sealing effect of the cladding element is promoted at the transition points as connection areas of the respective cladding element sections and / or facade cladding elements. Advantageously, the respective connection area, seal, and / or sealing section of the cladding element has a labyrinth seal structure. This structure preferably features triangular grooves and triangular protrusions or projections as a triangular surface structure in the respective connection area parallel to the outer edges, wherein the connection areas are complementary to each other, and thus the triangular surface structure fits together or interlocks as a seal or sealing section of the respective connection areas. Alternatively or in addition to the forms and structures of the connection area and the seal, other or further forms and structures as well as combinations of different forms and structures are also possible. It is advantageously provided that seams or joints between the respective cladding element sections or between the respective cladding element sections and connecting strips or connecting bridges are covered by means of a sealing tape, so that the sealing effect is further improved. By having at least one connecting element present or provided at least in one of the connection areas of the cladding element between two adjacent cladding element sections that can be arranged or combined with each other, or connected or combined with each other, the stable connection and also the sealing effect between the adjacent or connected or combined respective cladding element sections is promoted. It can also be advantageous to provide a connecting element that encircles or spans the cladding element sections, reliably pressing them together and against the respective object or sculpture, thus enhancing stability and tightness. For example, tension straps or other suitable circumferential connecting elements can be used. By arranging the connecting element of the cladding element in a direction away from the respective object, sculpture, building, structure, or facade, at the connection area facing the respective object, sculpture, building, structure, or facade, or in the direction of the respective object, sculpture, building, structure, or facade behind it, and by leading it through a passage opening in the connection area facing away from the respective object, sculpture, building, structure, or facade, or externally or in front of it, and against or on the connection area facing away from the respective object, sculpture, building, structure, or facade, or from the respective facadeBy ensuring that the connecting area on the outside or in front of the respective object, sculpture, building, structure, or facade can be pressed or tensioned, potential leaks through openings or connections to the building, structure, or facade are avoided at the respective point of the connecting element. Furthermore, the number of individual parts required can be reduced, and the assembly simplified through integrated components. Suitable connecting elements include, for example, threaded bolts or bayonet bolts or other connecting elements that are arranged in the connection area pointing towards the building or structure or the facade, or in the direction of the building or structure or the facade behind it. The respective connecting element, such as a threaded bolt, bayonet bolt, or other connecting element, is guided through a through-opening in the connection area of an adjacent cladding element section, pointing away from the building or structure or the facade, or located on the outside from the direction of the building or structure, and can be pressed or clamped against this or against the connection area pointing away from the building or structure or the facade, or located on the outside from the direction of the building or structure or the facade, by means of a complementary coupling, such as a nut or a bayonet ring or other coupling, or another construction and design and combination of the connecting element. Similarly, in the case of two adjacent connection areas of two neighboring or connectable, combinable, connected, or combined cladding element sections and / or facade cladding elements, where at least one connection element is present in the first connection area and a passage opening is present in the second connection area, the connection element can be flexibly positioned or arranged. The respective connection element can be guided through the passage opening and pressed or tensioned against the connection area. It is advantageous to have a connector receptacle on one of the cladding element sections and / or facade cladding elements to be joined. The connecting element can also be inserted through the through-hole and securely fastened in the connecting element receptacle. The connecting element can then be pressed or clamped against the connection area. Suitable connecting elements include screws, threaded bolts with nuts, insertable bayonet bolts, screw-in eccentric clamps, or similar fasteners. The connecting element can be oriented in any advantageous way, so that the cladding element sections and / or facade cladding elements can be connected easily and reliably and the connection area can be sealed. By providing ballast cavities or ballast receptacles in at least one part or selection of the respective cladding element sections and / or facade cladding elements, any buoyancy of the respective cladding element sections can be reduced or prevented by introducing or inserting water or weights into the respective cladding element section and / or facade cladding element. Furthermore, any potential uplift is prevented because the facade cladding elements are held in place by the negative or complementary image of the building's or structure's surface, and / or are pressed against the facade's contour by water pressure, thus preventing them from shifting along the surface of the building, structure, facade, or sculpture. Any uplift is therefore dissipated onto the building or sculpture. Since any cavities in the facade elements can be very small, for example, in thin facade cladding elements, the buoyancy forces are minimal. By having at least one, or two or more, cladding element sections featuring separate, overlapping, connectable, or combinable reinforcing structures, stiffeners, support elements, bulges, damping elements, guide structures, or support structures, sensitive, protruding, or weak structures or components of the respective object or sculpture can be particularly protected or supported. Furthermore, the deflection or repelling of debris can be facilitated. By sealing the outer edges or connection areas of the respective cladding element sections and / or the facade cladding elements facing the ground in the area around the respective object or sculpture or building or structure, or on the respective object or sculpture or building or structure in the area close to the ground, the sealing in the lower area of the flood protection arrangement and thus to the base of the building or structure is promoted, so that no water can get behind the respective cladding element sections. For this purpose, as a minimally invasive measure, the lowest or respective sections of the cladding elements can be screwed to the object or sculpture, or to a designated rail on the object or sculpture, using metal screws and a seal, such as a rubber sealing strip. The individual cladding element sections are screwed together watertight at the connection points via the connecting elements. This ensures that the entire object or sculpture is encased in a watertight seal and promotes the stability of the flood protection system. By fixing the outer edges or connection areas of the cladding element sections and / or the facade cladding elements facing the ground to the ground around the respective object, sculpture, building, or structure, or to the ground-level area of the respective object, sculpture, building, or structure, the movement, floating, or shifting of the cladding element with at least two cladding element sections, acting as a protective enclosure, is prevented by external influences such as water or debris. The resulting fixed points also simplify installation. By incorporating bottom sealing elements into the cladding, water ingress from below or from the ground is prevented. These bottom sealing elements also provide a connection to the foundation or base for the initial assembly or fastening of the cladding element sections. By angling or rounding the floor sealing elements and arranging and / or attaching them to the respective object or sculpture, or to the outer edges or connection areas of the cladding element sections and / or facade cladding elements facing the ground, and extending them to the ground around the respective object, sculpture, building, or structure, and sealing and / or attaching them in or on the ground around the respective object, sculpture, building, or structure, the sealing of the respective object, sculpture, building, or structure against penetrating water is improved, and at the same time the sealing is extended to the ground around the respective object, sculpture, building, or structure. At the same time, the stability of the cladding element is improved by using at least two cladding element sections as a protective enclosure. By providing the cladding element with outer edges and connection areas for the floor sealing elements, wherein the connection areas of adjacent or combinable cladding element sections and / or facade cladding elements and floor sealing elements overlap or lie on top of each other, and the cladding element sections and / or facade cladding elements and the floor sealing elements are connected to each other by means of at least one connecting element, the reliably stable and sealing connection between the cladding element sections and / or facade cladding elements and the floor sealing elements is promoted. By performing a planar and / or spatial rasterization and / or scaling of the respective object or sculpture, and producing the negative or complementary image of the surface, facade, contour, surface structure, or shape of the respective object or sculpture as cladding element sections based on the rasterization and / or scaling, detailed cladding element sections can be produced, thereby avoiding local force maxima as pressure points and cavities, which in turn can lead to local force maxima as pressure points or as locally limited surface pressure elsewhere. By including and / or arranging seals or sealing sections in the process at further connection areas to further cladding element sections and / or to facade cladding elements, the sealing effect at these connection areas is promoted and the assembly of the cladding element sections and / or facade cladding elements is simplified, as the subsequent arrangement of seals can be eliminated or reduced to a minimum. By arranging at least one connecting element at the connection areas and / or at a connection to the foundation or base or the floor sealing element during the process, the subsequent assembly of the cladding element sections and / or facade cladding elements is simplified, since transitions and recesses are already provided and thus the need for complex adjustment or assembly can be eliminated. By placing at least one connecting element at the connection areas during the process, the tightness is improved and the subsequent assembly is simplified. By using 3D printing to create cladding element sections based on the negative or complementary image of the surface, facade, contour, surface structure, or shape of the respective object or sculpture, the production of these cladding element sections—which vary considerably depending on whether the object or sculpture is freestanding or attached to buildings or structures—can be simplified and customized. Complex molds and / or forming processes are no longer necessary. Advantageously, the manufacturing process allows for the integration of stiffeners, deflectors, support struts, or reinforcements at the overhangs of the cladding element sections. This ensures that a protruding part of the sculpture, such as an arm, is not only encased but also protected from debris, for example, if a tree trunk or similar object strikes it. These elements can be incorporated during 3D printing or attached externally during assembly. Nothing should be able to get caught on the encasement after it is installed. Several embodiments of the invention are illustrated in the drawings and are described in more detail below. Figures 1 and 2 each show a schematic representation of a cladding element section, which can be arranged together with their connecting area to form a cladding element; Figures 3 and 4 each show a schematic representation of a cladding element section, which can be arranged together with their connecting area to form a cladding element, as well as detailed representations of the cladding element section with provisions for the use of connecting elements; and Figure 5 shows a schematic representation of a sculpture with two cladding element sections of a cladding element that can be arranged laterally opposite each other and enclosing the sculpture 3, as well as with facade cladding elements arranged or arrangable on each of the cladding element sections. Figures 1, 2, 3 to 4 each show a cladding element section 2 for a cladding element 1 for objects 7 or sculptures 7. The cladding element 1 according to the invention for objects 7 or sculptures 7 comprises at least two cladding element sections 2. The cladding element sections 2 can be arranged or attached around or to a respective object 7 or sculpture 7, so that the respective object 7 or sculpture 7 is completely enclosed at least laterally and from above. The cladding element sections 2 can be combined and / or detachably connected to one another via connection areas 3 at outer edges or edge regions, so that the cladding element sections 2 of the cladding element 1 are reliably arranged around the respective object 7 or sculpture 7.Advantageously, the surface 8 of each cladding element section 2 facing the respective object 7 or sculpture 7 is adapted to the respective object 7 or sculpture 7 in the area of the respective cladding element 1, so that the cladding element sections 2 lie against the respective object 7 or sculpture 7 without tension or pressure points. Each cladding element section 2 has a connection to a foundation or plinth or a floor sealing element [not shown]. Furthermore, the cladding element sections 2 can be divided for reasons of handling or shape of the sculpture 7 or shape of the respective object 7, whereby the connecting areas 3 resulting horizontally or also in other planes at an angle, obliquely useful manner, can be designed with seals 10 or sealing surfaces, connecting elements 4 and recesses 12 in a complementary manner to each other analogous to the vertical connecting areas 3. For this purpose, the surface 8 of the respective cladding element section 2 facing the respective object 7 or sculpture 7 is adapted to or follows the surface 9, contour 9, surface structure 9, or shape 9 of the respective object 7 or sculpture 7. Accordingly, the surface 8 facing the respective object 7 or sculpture 7 is complementary to the respective object 7 or sculpture 7. The connection areas 3 of the adjacently arranged or connectable or combinable cladding element sections 2 of the type shown are butted together. Alternatively, the connection areas 3 can overlap or lie on top of each other. Advantageously, as shown in detail in Figs. 1 and 2, the connection areas 3 are complementary to each other. Thus, the connection areas 3, which can be arranged adjacently or with connecting or combining cladding element sections 2, form a seal 10 and / or a sealing section 10, for example in the form of a labyrinth seal, which interlock when the cladding element sections 2 are assembled. Furthermore, an adhesive sealing tape may be present at or above the connection area 3. At least one connecting element 4 is present or provided for connecting the cladding element sections 2. As shown in Figures 3 and 4, at least one connecting element 4, for example in the form of a threaded rod or a bayonet rod, can be present at one of the connecting areas 3 of two adjacent or mutually connectable or combinable cladding element sections 2. A through-opening 5 is provided in or on the connecting area 3 of the two adjacent or mutually connectable or combinable cladding element sections 2 for this purpose. The connecting element 4 can be guided through the through-opening 5 or is guided through the through-opening 5 and can be pressed or clamped against the connecting area 2 of the two adjacent or mutually connectable or combinable cladding element sections 2 by means of a union 11, for example as a nut or bayonet ring.Advantageously, for the respective connecting element 4, as shown in detail in Fig. 4, a recess 12 is provided, which facilitates the arrangement of the connecting element 4 and the cap 11 as well as access to them. Alternatively or in addition to at least one connecting element 4, a circumferential or spanning connecting element 4 can be provided as a tensioning strap [not shown]. Other variants for a connecting element 4 are, for example, a threaded rod or a screw or a bayonet rod, which are each guided or can be guided through the through-opening 5 of one of the cladding element sections 2 and are screwed or screwable or clamped or clampable and thus securely fastened to the other of the cladding element sections 2. Figure 5 shows a sculpture 7 and two cladding element sections 2, which are shown and described above as in Figures 1, 2, 3 to 4, and especially in Figures 3 and 4, as well as facade cladding elements 6 connected to each of the cladding element sections 2. The cladding element sections 2 can be arranged around the sculpture 7. The facade cladding elements 6 can be connected to each other via their connecting areas 3 and to connecting areas 3 on the cladding element sections 2, for example on the exterior wall. The facade cladding elements 6 can be connected or combined with each other and with the cladding element sections 2. The facade cladding elements 6 have, at least in some areas, a flat, planar, curved, skew, angled, and / or angular surface, and / or a rectangular, square, trapezoidal, or triangular shape in plan or cross-section. Like the cladding element sections 2, the surface of each facade cladding element 6 facing the building or structure or facade is adapted to the surface 9, contour 9, surface texture 9, or shape 9 of the building or structure or facade. Accordingly, the surface of each facade cladding element 6 facing the building or structure or facade follows the surface 9, contour 9, surface texture 9, or shape 9 of the building or structure or facade.Accordingly, the surface of the respective facade cladding element 6 facing the facade is complementary to the building or structure or to the facade. Advantageously, the sculpture 7 is first enclosed by arranging the cladding element sections 2 around the sculpture according to the arrows shown. Subsequently, the cladding element sections 2 of the cladding element 1 are fixed using the connecting elements 4, and the facade cladding element 6 is positioned and connected via the respective connecting areas 3 and additionally sealed if necessary. Advantageously, ballast cavities or ballast receptacles may be provided in at least part or a selection of the respective cladding element sections 2 and / or facade cladding elements 6 [not shown]. In the case of particularly cantilevered or delicate structures, as well as for protection against debris, separate or overlapping or connectable or combinable reinforcement structures, stiffeners, support elements, bulges or damping elements or guide structures or support structures may be present on one of the cladding element sections 2 or across several cladding element sections 2 or on at least one of the facade cladding elements 6 [not shown]. Advantageously, seals 10 against penetrating water are present at the outer edges or connection areas 3 of the cladding element sections 2 and / or the facade cladding elements 6 facing the ground on the object 7 or on the sculpture 7 or the building or structure and / or towards the ground [not shown]. It is also advantageous that floor sealing elements are present, whereby a seal against the object 7 or the sculpture 7 or the building or structure and / or to the ground is provided [not shown]. Advantageously, the floor sealing elements have connection areas 3 on the outer edges, so that they can be connected or combined with the cladding element sections 2 and / or with the facade cladding elements 6 [not shown]. The inventive method for manufacturing a cladding element for objects 7 or sculptures 7 provides that a spatial and / or planar scanning or acquisition of the surface 9 or the facade 9 or contour 9 or surface structure 9 or shape 9 of the respective object 7 or sculpture 7 is carried out. Alternatively, spatial and / or planar data of the surface 9 or the facade 9 of the respective object 7 or sculpture 7 are provided from a recording or data collection.Based on spatial and / or planar scanning or acquisition, or the provided data, a negative image or complementary image of the surface 9, facade 9, contour 9, surface structure 9, or shape 9 of the respective object 7 or sculpture 7, divided into at least two cladding element sections 2, is produced in its original size as a cladding element with surfaces 8 facing the respective object 7 or sculpture 7. This involves planar and / or spatial rasterization and / or scaling of the respective object 7 or sculpture 7, based on which the negative image or complementary image of the surface 9, facade 9, contour 9, surface structure 9, or shape 9 of the respective object 7 or sculpture 7 is produced. The cladding element 1 is divided into at least two cladding element sections 2, with connection areas 3 being provided and / or arranged at least on mutually facing or aligned outer edges or end faces of the at least two cladding element sections 2, and at least one connecting element 4 being arranged at the connection areas 3. Furthermore, seals 10 or sealing sections 10 are already provided and / or arranged between the at least two cladding element sections 2 and at a connection to a foundation or plinth. Likewise, at least one connecting element 4 is arranged at the connection to the foundation, plinth, or floor sealing element. Advantageously, in the process, seals 10 or sealing sections 10 are already provided and / or arranged at connection areas 3 to further cladding element sections 2 and / or to facade cladding elements 6. The cladding element sections 2 of the cladding element 1 as a negative image or complementary image of the surface 9 or the facade 9 or contour 9 or surface structure 9 or shape 9 of the respective object 7 or the respective sculpture 7 are produced by means of 3D printing.
