METHOD FOR CREATING 3D DATA FOR A 3D PRINTER, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A MOLDED PART, 3D DATA FOR A 3D PRINTER AND MOLDED PART

Abstract

A method for generating 3D data for a 3D printer, executed by a computer, is provided. The method includes preparing 3D shape data of a molded part to be formed by injection molding or extrusion; performing a flow analysis with respect to the prepared 3D shape data to obtain a flow direction from an injection section of molten plastic to a flow front during molding in a casting mold to form the molded part; attaching a texture of a marble pattern to the 3D shape data such that an expansion direction of the marble pattern lies along the flow direction obtained by the flow analysis; and generating 3D data of the 3D shape data to which a texture of the marble pattern is attached.
