Abstract

An image processing device according to the present disclosure generates a second image by performing quantization processing on a first image, generates a feature map based on the second image, generates an existence probability map that specifies a distribution of an existence probability of an object in the first image using the feature map, performs a matching determination processing, which is a processing of determining whether a value of each cell matches a fixed value for the feature map or the existence probability map, and performs a dequantization processing on the feature map or the existence probability map based on a result of the matching determination processing.
