Abstract

The invention relates to an insulation displacement connection (IDC) for the stripping-free clamping of a cable with an insulating sheath, in which at least one electrical conductor is arranged within the insulating sheath. The IDC has at least one stationary first cutting blade configured to cut the insulating sheath of the cable and electrically contact the inner electrical conductor. The first cutting blade can, for example, be stationary in an insulating housing of a conductor terminal, in which the spring-loaded clamping connection is housed. The invention also relates to a conductor terminal with such an IDC.
