Abstract
[0098] A sensor detects a property of a grain pile on a carrier in a pure grain elevator. The sensor generates a sensor signal that indicates the detected property. A volume detection system generates a volume output based on the sensor signal, indicating the volume of the grain pile on the carrier. A volume processing system receives the volume output from the volume detection system and generates a yield value based on the volume output.
