ELECTRIC PUMP

Abstract

An electric pump comprises a rotor, a stator, a pump section, and a casing. The stator has a rear yoke, several teeth extending from the rear yoke toward the radially inward side, and several coils attached to each set of teeth. The casing has a rotor receiving section that accommodates the rotor base internally, a pump receiving section that accommodates the pump section internally, and a flow path section that connects the interior of the rotor receiving section to the interior of the pump receiving section. The rotor receiving section has a circumferential wall section made of plastic, in which at least one set of coils is embedded and which surrounds the rotor base from the radially outward side.The circumferential wall section comprises a main circumferential wall section, into which at least a portion of the rear yoke is embedded and which surrounds the rotor base from the radially outer side, and several convex sections that project from the inner circumferential surface of the main circumferential wall section towards the radially inner side and are arranged at intervals in the circumferential direction. At least a portion of each tooth is embedded in each of the respective convex sections.
