Abstract

The invention relates to a method for extracting requirements from an electronic document using a language model, a suitably configured device, and a computer program. The inventive method for extracting requirements from an electronic document using a language model comprises splitting the document into paragraphs and feeding each paragraph to the language model to generate at least one requirement, wherein the language model is additionally provided with a paragraph-specific context during the processing of the respective paragraph, which is derived from a hierarchical structure of the document and reference information of the paragraph.
