Description

TECHNICAL FIELD

[0001] Exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a contactless lock switch, and more particularly to a contactless lock switch capable of detecting a gear shift position by detecting a position change of a magnet installed on a rotor using a Hall element. STATE OF THE ART

[0002] An inhibitor switch is a device for detecting a corresponding gear position, i.e., Park (P), Reverse (R), Neutral (N), or Drive (D), when a driver operates a gearshift lever. The inhibitor switch is mounted on a transmission housing. The inhibitor switch engages directly with the gearshift lever by being connected to it by a cable, or is operated by a separate actuator that is actuated and controlled based on the operation of the gearshift lever. Gear position information detected by the inhibitor switch is transmitted to an engine control unit and a transmission control unit and used for numerous operational controls of a vehicle. For example, the inhibitor switch prevents (i.e., disables) starting the vehicle in gearshift positions R or D, such a function being the name given to the inhibitor switch.

[0003] Interlock switches are divided into contact interlock switches and contactless interlock switches. The contact interlock switch comprises a terminal and a contactor that rub against each other (i.e., contact each other). Therefore, contact failure occurs due to abrasion and intrusion of foreign matter, and the gear detection performance deteriorates. To solve the above-described problem of the contact interlock switch, the contactless interlock switch for gear detection using a Hall element was developed.

[0004] As in Fig. 1, a conventional contactless lock switch in the prior art has a structure in which an arc-shaped magnet 3 over a printed circuit board 1 mounted Hall element 2 is arranged (between the Hall element 2 and the magnet 3there is an air gap). The magnet 3 is mounted on a rotor (not shown) and a hand shaft is inserted into and mounted on the rotor to allow the rotor and the magnet 3 rotate integrally with the hand shaft. The Hall element 2 detects a change in position in one direction of rotation of the magnet 3 and a signal corresponding to the detected change is transmitted via a printed circuit board 1 connected cable to a transmission control unit.

[0005] In this case, a magnetic flux is used to detect the change in the rotational position of the magnet 3 is used, a magnetic flux in a B y -direction (a direction of rotation of the magnet) and a B z-direction (a top-down direction as the vertical direction between the magnet and the Hall element) in the illustrated spatial coordinate system. So, if a position of the magnet 3 in the vertical direction (B z -direction) changes while the lock switch is operated, a distance of the air gap between the Hall element 2 and the magnet 3 and thus a measured magnetic flux changes in such a way that the detection accuracy of gear stages deteriorates.

[0006] As described above, the magnet 3 Meanwhile, the rotor is mounted on the hand shaft, which is mounted by passing through the locking switch. However, since the hand shaft moves slightly in the vertical direction during assembly and operation, the magnet is also 3a vertical movement is present. Consequently, the distance of the air gap and the detection accuracy of the Hall element changes 2 worsens.

[0007] Furthermore, the Hall element 2 in the conventional state-of-the-art blocking switch, mounted in the same room as the magnet 3 mounted in a housing of the conventional lock switch. Since the magnet 3 mounted on the rotor, which is mounted on the hand shaft, and the hand shaft passes through the housing of the lock switch, moisture and foreign materials enter the space in which the rotor and the magnet 3 Since it cannot be prevented that the Hall element 2 , which is in the same room as the magnet 3 is exposed to moisture and foreign materials, the moisture-sensitive Hall element 2 and gear stages cannot be recorded. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0008] An object of the present disclosure is to provide a contactless lock switch that can enable a Hall element to detect gear stages regardless of a change in the vertical position of a magnet and that can prevent the Hall element from being damaged due to intrusion of moisture and foreign materials into a space in which the magnet is mounted.

[0009] According to one aspect of the present disclosure, an interlock switch may include a housing having a rotor accommodating space and a Hall element accommodating space, a rotor disposed in the rotor accommodating space, a magnet disposed on an outer peripheral surface of the rotor, a Hall element disposed in the Hall element accommodating space and horizontally spaced from the magnet to allow a detection surface to face an outer peripheral surface of the magnet, and a cover configured to block an opening of the rotor accommodating space to prevent the rotor from coming off.

[0010] A partition wall may be formed between the rotor accommodating space and the Hall element accommodating space to separate a magnet mounting space from a Hall element mounting space. A first gasket may be disposed between an inner peripheral surface of the rotor accommodating space and an upper and / or lower end of the rotor. The Hall element accommodating space may include a Hall element insertion groove formed in a vertical direction, and the Hall element may be coupled to the Hall element insertion groove. An insulating coating material may be applied to the Hall element accommodating space, or an epoxy resin or silicone may be injected and cured into the Hall element accommodating space.

[0011] A connector may be formed on a side portion of the housing, a connector terminal may be provided in the connector, and a Hall element-side terminal electrically connected to the Hall element may be connected to the connector terminal. Specifically, the Hall element-side terminal may be welded to the connector terminal. An end portion of a lead protruding from a side surface of the Hall element may be connected to a first side surface of a capacitor, and the Hall element-side terminal may be provided on a second side surface of the capacitor to form a Hall element array, and the Hall element array may be formed such that the lead is bent substantially at a right angle.

[0012] A fixing protrusion may be formed to protrude upward from a position adjacent to the capacitor on a bottom surface of the Hall element accommodating space, and the capacitor may be fixed to the Hall element accommodating space by deforming a free end portion of the fixing protrusion while being in close contact with the bottom surface of the Hall element accommodating space. At least two fixing protrusions may be formed at positions adjacent to both sides of the capacitor to which the lead and the Hall element-side terminal are not connected.

[0013] A plurality of coupling holes may be formed on the cover along an outer periphery thereof, and a plurality of coupling protrusions may be formed to protrude upward from a bottom of the housing to correspond to the plurality of coupling holes. The plurality of coupling protrusions may be inserted to pass through the plurality of coupling holes, and free end portions of the plurality of coupling protrusions may be deformed to couple the cover to the rotor accommodating space.

[0014] Alternatively, a plurality of coupling holes may be formed on the housing along an edge of an upper portion of the rotor accommodating space. A plurality of coupling protrusions may be formed to protrude from the cover to correspond to the plurality of coupling holes. The plurality of coupling protrusions may be inserted to pass through the plurality of coupling holes, and free end portions of the plurality of coupling protrusions may be deformed to couple the cover to the rotor accommodating space.

[0015] The rotor may be inserted from a lower end of the rotor receiving space to an upper end thereof. Alternatively, the rotor may be inserted from an upper end of the rotor receiving space to a lower end thereof, and a second seal may be disposed between the upper end of the rotor receiving space of the housing and the cover.

[0016] As described above, according to the present disclosure, a vertical flux component does not need to be used to detect a change in the position of a magnet, and even though vertical movement of the magnet exists, gear stages can be detected independently of the vertical movement of the magnet. Furthermore, the Hall element can be sealed and protected from moisture and foreign materials entering a space where the magnet is mounted, thus preventing the Hall element from being damaged and allowing gear stages to be detected more accurately. Therefore, the definitions of these terms should follow the contexts disclosed herein.

[0020] Hereinafter, exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. Fig. 2 is a diagram of main parts of a contactless lock switch according to the present disclosure. As in Fig. 2, the lock switch according to the present disclosure may include a magnet mounted on a rotor 30 and a reverb element 40 which is arranged to thereby act on the magnet 30 to show that the same in a horizontal direction with respect to the magnet 30with a gap between the magnet 30 and the Hall element 40 The present disclosure is not limited thereto and the magnet 30 may have an arc shape in which a vertical length is greater than a thickness in a radial direction. The following is an example of the magnet 30 described with an arched shape.

[0021] The Hall element 40 may be arranged at a position separated by a predetermined distance (e.g., a gap) from an outer peripheral surface of the magnet 30 in the horizontal direction. The Hall element 40 can be an element for converting a magnetic charge into an electrical voltage using a Hall effect. The Hall element 40can be a chip in which an integrated circuit (IC) is embedded, which is used to measure an intensity of a magnetic field or to measure a current or position based on a change in the magnetic field.

[0022] A plurality of lines 41 can be detected from a side surface of the Hall element 40 protrude. An upper surface of the Hall element 40 selected from the upper surface and a lower surface thereof, which faces the protruding direction of the plurality of lines 41 vertical, a detection surface 40a to detect a magnetic field. Since the upper surface of the Hall element 40 arranged to be closer to the magnet 30 to be, the upper surface of the Hall element 40 the capture interface 40a As described above, Fig. 2 an example where the Hall element 40 vertically arranged so as to thereby act on the outer peripheral surface of the magnet 30 to show that it is possible that the upper surface of the Hall element 40 as the capture surface 40a The present disclosure is not limited thereto. The following describes the example in which the upper surface of the Hall element 40 as the capture surface 40a serves.

[0023] Since the Hall element 40 is arranged vertically to allow the upper surface of the element 40 as the capture surface 40a serves, the majority of lines 41 of the Hall element 40 protrude upwards, and to accommodate the majority of cables 41 with a connector connection 13a a connector 13formed on a side portion of a housing, therefore, the plurality of lines 41 be bent to extend in the horizontal direction (see Fig. 2 and Fig. 5). The horizontal sections of the majority of curved lines 41 can be connected to a first side surface of the capacitor 42 connected to obtain a capacitance. A Hall element-side connection 43 for connecting to the connector port 13a can be on a second side surface of the capacitor 42 be provided.

[0024] An overall configuration and an internal structure of the lock switch according to the present disclosure including the magnet 30 and the Hall element 40 are made with reference to Fig. 3 to Fig. 7. The lock switch according to the present disclosure may include a housing 10which includes a rotor receiving space 11 , a reverb element recording room 12 and the connector 13 The lock switch can also have a rotor 20 , which in the rotor receiving space 11 is arranged, the arc-shaped magnet 30 , which is on an outer circumferential surface of the rotor 20 is arranged, the Hall element 40 , which is in the hall element recording room 12 is arranged, and a cover 50 to prevent the rotor 20 is released by opening the rotor receiving space 11 is blocked after the rotor 20 into the rotor receiving space 11 is inserted. The Hall element 40 can be mounted vertically to allow the detection surface 40 on an outer peripheral surface of the magnet 30while maintaining a predetermined distance (e.g. a gap) to the outer peripheral surface of the magnet 30 has.

[0025] Since the capacitor 42 on the line 41 provided by a side surface of the Hall element 40 protrudes, and the Hall element-side terminal 43 from the first side surface of the capacitor 42 protrudes as described above, the line can 41 be bent in the horizontal direction to connect the connector 13a of the connector 13 , which is located on a side section of the housing 10 formed, with the Hall element-side connection 43 Therefore, a Hall element arrangement (which contains the Hall element 40 , the management 41 , the capacitor 42 and the Hall element side connection 43comprises) have a rotated “L” shape and thus the Hall element receiving space 12 , into which the Hall element array is inserted and mounted, may also have the rotated “L” shape to allow the Hall element array to be removed from an upper surface of the housing 10 to an inner part of it is lowered and mounted downwards.

[0026] Accordingly, the Hall element 40 at a Hall element insertion recess 12a which is a vertical recessed section (e.g. a recess) of the Hall element receiving space 12 The Hall element 40 can be inserted into the Hall element insertion recess 12a inserted by inserting it into the Hall element insertion recess 12a press-fitted, with a width that corresponds to the width of the Hall element 40 essentially the same, and the Hall element 40can be found in the Hall element recording room 12 be mounted to allow left-right movement (horizontal direction) of the Hall element 40 to suppress.

[0027] As further stated in Fig. 7, both side surfaces of the capacitor 42 by hot staking with a lower surface of the capacitor 42 which is attached to a horizontal floor surface of the Hall element recording room 12 connected to allow the capacitor to 42 in the vertical direction as well as in the horizontal direction, whereby the vertical movement of the Hall element 40 can be suppressed.

[0028] The hot caulking may be carried out in such a way that heat and pressure are applied to at least one of fastening projections 12bwhich are designed to be raised from the horizontal floor surface of the Hall element recording room 12 protrude in an upward direction to free end portions of the fastening projections 12b to deform, thereby enabling the deformed free end portions thereof to be pressed against both side surfaces and an upper surface of the capacitor 42 The mounting projections can be provided individually, in pairs or in multiples. To prevent interference with the cable 41 or the Hall element side connection 43 To prevent this, a pair of mounting projections 12b be arranged at positions facing both side surfaces of the capacitor 42 , with which the management 41 and the Hall element side connection 43 are not connected, are adjacent.

[0029] The Hall element side connection 43, which is supplied by the capacitor 42 protrudes, can be connected to an end portion of the connector terminal 13a , which in the connector 13 provided, welded and connected to the same. Resistance welding or laser welding can be used as the welding process.

[0030] To ensure an electrical connection of the cables 41 or the Hall element side connections 43 due to moisture or foreign materials entering the Hall element recording space 12 after completion of welding, a coating solution of an insulating material can also be applied to the Hall element receiving space 12 applied or a filler consisting of a resin or silicone material can be inserted into the Hall element receiving space 12An example in which a filler material consisting of a resin or silicone material is injected and cured to prevent the inflow of moisture or foreign materials into the Hall element housing space 12 to prevent is described below.

[0031] An epoxy resin may be used as the filler consisting of a resin material, but the present disclosure is not limited thereto. When an epoxy resin or silicone is injected and cured as described above, the Hall element accommodating space can 12 be sealed against the ingress of moisture and foreign materials and a space can also be provided between the cables 41 or the Hall element side connections 43 covered to ensure electrical contact between the wires 41 or the Hall element side connections 43The cured epoxy resin or silicone can also bond the Hall element arrangement to an interior of the Hall element housing 12 fasten.

[0032] The rotor receiving space 11 can be a cylindrical space located on one side of the Hall element recording space 12 in the housing 10 The rotor 20 , which in the rotor receiving space 11 inserted and mounted, may also comprise a cylindrical shape to allow the rotor 20 in the rotor receiving space 11 is rotatable. Stop projections 11a and 20a which correspond to each other can each be arranged on an inner circumferential surface of the rotor receiving space 11 or an outer circumferential surface of the rotor 20 be formed to allow vertical movement of the rotor 20 to suppress.

[0033] The rotor 20can be from a lower section of the rotor receiving space 11 inserted upwards or may be inserted downwards from an upper portion thereof. Fig. Figure 5 illustrates an example in which the rotor 20 from the lower section of the rotor receiving space 11 is inserted upwards, and Fig. 6 illustrates an example in which the rotor 20 from the upper section of the rotor receiving space 11 is inserted downwards. The cover 50 can be attached to a bottom opening or a top opening of the rotor receiving space 11 mounted to prevent the rotor 20 upwards or downwards. The cover 50 can prevent the rotor 20 from the rotor receiving space 11 releases, and the vertical movement of the rotor 20 can be stopped by the stop projections 11a and 20aand the cover 50 Accordingly, a vertical movement of the magnet 30 , which is on the outer circumferential surface of the rotor 20 As described above, the vertical movement of the rotor 20 be prevented and a vertical movement of a hand wave that enters the rotor 20 inserted and coupled with it can be prevented.

[0034] In the rotor 20 an opening may be formed in the vertical direction, and the upper and lower portions of the rotor receiving space 11 and a central section of the cover 50 can be opened to allow the opening to be opened in the vertical direction.

[0035] With regard to a coupling procedure between the cover 50 and the housing Fig. 3 to Fig. 5 an example in which a plurality of coupling openings 54 is formed in such a way that the cover 50 along the outer circumference thereof. A plurality of coupling projections 14 may be formed from bottom sections of the housing 10 protrude to the plurality of coupling openings 54 to correspond, the plurality of coupling projections 14 can be inserted into the majority of coupling openings 54 be inserted to pass through them, and consequently free end portions of the plurality of coupling projections 14 be deformed to cover 50 with the housing 10 to pair.

[0036] As a coupling method using physical deformation, a hot-stamping method of applying heat and pressure to the free end portions of the plurality of coupling projections 14to deform, or a riveting process may be used to fix the free end portions of the plurality of coupling projections 14 using pressure or a rotational force. The hot-stamping method can be used when the plurality of coupling projections 14 made of plastic materials, and the riveting method can be applied when the plurality of coupling projections 14 made of metal materials such as aluminum. Alternatively, a coupling hole may be provided at a bottom portion of the housing 10 formed and a coupling projection may be formed to protrude from the cover 50 at a position corresponding to a position of the coupling hole. For the convenience of description, as shown in the drawings, an example will be described below in which the plurality of coupling holes 54 in the cover 50is formed and the plurality of coupling projections 14 is formed in such a way that from the bottom portion of the housing 10 to stand out.

[0037] As in Fig. 3 and Fig. 4, a plurality of attachment parts 51 and 52 and a rotor position adjustment part 53 in the cover 50 The majority of attachment parts 51 and 52 and the rotor position adjustment part 53 may be formed at end portions of projecting pieces extending from an outer peripheral surface of the disc-shaped cover 50 protrude radially outwards. Each of the two mounting parts 51 and 52 can be on opposite sides of the cover 50 for mounting stability of the lock switch, and the rotor position adjustment part 53may be formed at a position facing the attachment part 51 on a side section of the cover 50 shows.

[0038] The attachment parts 51 and 52 can be attached to a gearbox housing with fasteners such as screws or bolts to mount the lock switch to the gearbox housing. When the lock switch is assembled with the gearbox housing, the rotor position adjustment part 53 fix a position of a lever arranged in the hand shaft in such a way that it is connected to the rotor 20 to be arranged at an N-stage position. When an opening of the lever coincides with an opening of the rotor position adjusting part 53 aligned (aligned by inserting a pin during assembly), the rotor can 20 be located at the position of the N-stage.

[0039] When assembled, the Hall element40 and the magnet 30 through the partition wall 15 be separated. The partition wall 15 a section of the housing 10 which serves to fill the rotor receiving space 11 Due to the partition wall 15 can be a space in which the rotor 20 and the magnet 30 are mounted (the rotor mounting space 11 ) be separated from a room in which the reverb element 40 is mounted (the Hall element recording space 12 ). Therefore, moisture and foreign materials can be prevented from entering the rotor receiving space 11 enter, the Hall element 40 influence the Hall element 40 to protect and prevent damage to it. Fig. 5 illustrates that the magnet 30 and the Hall element 40 are arranged to face each other in the horizontal direction.

[0040] First seals 71 and 72 can be applied to outer circumferential surfaces of an upper and a lower end of the rotor 20 be provided. The first seals 71 and 72 can prevent the penetration of moisture and foreign materials from the outside into the interior of the rotor receiving space 11 block by creating a gap between the inner circumferential surfaces of the rotor 20 and the rotor receiving space 11 The first seals 71 and 72 may be provided in the form of an O-ring seal, a square ring seal or an oil seal. Fig. 5 and Fig. 6 illustrate examples where O-rings are used as the first seals 71 and 72 are provided.

[0041] Furthermore, a washer 60 at the upper opening of the rotor receiving space 11 The washer60 can be overmolded if the housing 10 injection molded. The housing 60 The hand shaft that is inserted into the rotor 20 inserted, in a transverse direction (ie a horizontal direction) along the cover 50 If the cover made of a plastic material 50 applied, a stiffness of the cover 50 through the washer 60 be improved.

[0042] Since the hand shaft is fixed at two vertical points in the horizontal direction by the washer 60 and the cover 50 supported as described above, movement of the hand shaft in a transverse direction (ie horizontal) can be suppressed and thus the horizontal movement of the rotor 20 which is mounted on the hand shaft, and a horizontal movement of the magnet 30 , which is attached to the rotor20 mounted, can be prevented. Therefore, a horizontal distance (ie a gap) between the magnet 30 and the Hall element 40 be kept constant to ensure the detection performance of the Hall element 40 to improve, and thus the detection of gear stages of the lock switch can be carried out more accurately.

[0043] According to the configuration described above, the Hall element 40 according to the present disclosure, a position in a direction of rotation of the magnet 30 only using magnetic fluxes in the B y -direction (a direction of rotation of the magnet) and the B x -direction (the horizontal direction between the magnet and the Hall element) in the Fig. 2. Since a magnetic flux component in the B z-direction (the vertical direction) is not used to detect positions of gear stages, as described above, the positions of gear stages can be detected even if a vertical movement occurs on the hand shaft and thus a vertical position of the magnet 30 changes, regardless of the vertical movement of the magnet 30 be detected more accurately.

[0044] Fig. Fig. 6 illustrates another example of the blocking switch according to the present disclosure. In order to avoid a magnetic flux component in the vertical direction (the B z -direction), a structure in which the Hall element 40 is mounted in the vertical direction and the detection surface 40a of the Hall element 40 is mounted to the magnet 30 in the horizontal direction (the B x-direction) should be the same as the structure of the example described above.

[0045] With reference to Fig. 6, the Hall element arrangement can be removed from the lower surface of the housing 10 up into the reverb element recording room 12 Similar to the example described above, the Hall element can 40 vertically into the Hall element insertion recess 12a be press-fitted and the capacitor 42 can be placed on an inner horizontal surface of the Hall element recording chamber 12 using the mounting projections 12b be secured by hot-stitching. An epoxy resin or silicone can be applied to the Hall element housing 12 be injected to block the ingress of foreign materials and moisture, to ensure electrical contact between the wires 41 or the Hall element side connections 43to prevent and to secure the Hall element arrangement.

[0046] If the reverb element recording room 12 and the Hall element 40 on a lower section of the housing 10 As described above, the intrusion of moisture and foreign materials can be prevented. Since moisture and foreign materials tend to move in the direction of gravity (vertically downward) unless an external force acts on them, it is more difficult for moisture and foreign materials to move upward and enter the interior of the Hall element housing space. 12 to penetrate.

[0047] Furthermore, the Fig. 6 is designed in such a way that the rotor 20 from the upper section of the rotor receiving space 11 is inserted downwards and the cover 50 at the upper section of the rotor receiving space11 mounted to prevent the rotor 20 upwards.

[0048] With regard to a coupling procedure between the cover 50 and the housing 10 can cover 50 and the housing 10 similar to the one in Fig. 3 to Fig. 5 can be coupled together by hot-stitching or riveting. Fig. 6 illustrates an example in which a coupling opening 16 at an upper edge section of the rotor receiving space 11 of the housing 10 is formed, a coupling projection 55 , which corresponds to the coupling opening 16 corresponds to the cover 50 is formed, the coupling projection 55 into the coupling opening 16 is inserted and a free end portion of the coupling projection 55 is deformed in such a way that the cover 50 and the housing 10to pair. If the cover 50 on the upper section of the housing 10 mounted, a second seal can also be 73 between the cover 50 and the housing 10 be arranged.

[0049] Meanwhile, a coupling surface part 21 for attaching the rotor 20 be formed on the hand shaft in a direction of rotation from an inner circumferential surface of the opening of the rotor 20 to protrude. The coupling surface part 21 may protrude in a flat shape which is in relation to the inner peripheral surface of the opening of the rotor 20 a chord. A corresponding surface that is in close surface contact with the coupling surface part 21 may be formed on the outer peripheral surface of the hand shaft. Furthermore, a coupling recess 22 on the coupling surface part 21in the vertical direction (an insertion direction of the hand shaft) and a vertical coupling protrusion corresponding to the coupling recess 22 corresponds to and is to be inserted into the same, can be formed on the corresponding surface of the hand shaft.

[0050] When the hand shaft is inserted into the opening of the rotor 20 inserted as described above, the coupling surface part 21 of the rotor 20 be brought into close surface contact with the corresponding part of the hand shaft. Since the vertical coupling projection of the hand shaft fits into the coupling recess 22 of the rotor 20 inserted, the rotor 20 and the hand shaft must be coupled together to prevent the hand shaft from rotating relative to the rotor 20 becomes loose (e.g. rotates uncoupled). Therefore, rotation of the hand shaft by the rotor 20 more precisely to the magnets 30and thus a discrepancy in the rotational size between the hand shaft and the magnet can be prevented. 30 occurs, and the positions of gear stages can be detected more accurately.

[0051] Although the present disclosure has been described with reference to the exemplary embodiments shown in the drawings, these are to be considered merely illustrative, and it will be apparent to those skilled in the art to which this disclosure pertains that various modifications and other equivalent embodiments can be implemented within the spirit and scope of the present disclosure. Accordingly, the technical scope of the present disclosure is to be determined by the following claims.
