Abstract

Device (200) for receiving a pedestrian airbag (205) on a vehicle (101), the device (200) comprising: a first cover part (204) comprising a first rear connecting section (207), a first receiving section (206) and a tear line (401) arranged between the first rear connecting section (207) and the first receiving section (206), the tear line (401) being arranged to tear during use to provide an opening through which the airbag (205) can deploy; and a second cover part (408); wherein the first cover part (204) and the second cover part (408) define a chamber (409) for the airbag (205), wherein the second cover part (408) comprises a ramp surface (415) to guide the triggering airbag away from the first rear connecting section (207) during inflation of the airbag (205) in use.
