AI Technical Summary

Technical Problem

Existing devices for capturing malignibility information in workpiece models face issues with incorrect recording of position data due to improper comparison of workpiece models with detection data from formal recording sensors.

Method used

A device that records multiple workpiece models in different orientations, each containing feature models corresponding to visual features, and identifies unlocking information for feature models with dissimilar relationships across orientations, using a processor to capture and record this information.

Benefits of technology

This approach reduces the incorrect recording of position data by accurately identifying and recording unlocking information, ensuring precise alignment and positioning of workpieces during robotic operations.

Abstract

In the past, there have been cases where a workpiece model was incorrectly matched with data from a shape detection sensor, resulting in incorrect position data acquisition. This device comprises: A model acquisition unit that acquires multiple workpiece models resulting from modeling a workpiece in multiple orientations, wherein the workpiece models contain a feature model corresponding to a visual feature of the workpiece; and an information acquisition unit that, with respect to a first workpiece model in one orientation, acquires dissimilar information to identify a first feature model that is in a dissimilar relationship to the features of the workpiece in other orientations.
