Abstract

Seat comprising: a backrest (1), wherein: the backrest (1) comprises: a frame (2) serving as the base of the backrest (1); a cover element (3) covering a front surface (2b) of the frame (2); a back panel (5) covering a rear surface (2d) of the frame (2); a trim (4) covering a rear surface (5c) of the back panel (5); and a first engagement element (7) that fixes the cladding (4) to the cover element (3), the cover element (3) having a front surface part (3a) that covers the front surface (2b) of the frame (2), a pair of side surface parts (3b) that each cover side surfaces (2c) of the frame (2), and a cladding fixing part (3d) that is located in a space (3c) that is defined between the front surface part (3a) and the pair of side surface parts (3b), and which has a first engagement hole (3e),which can be engaged with the first engagement element (7), the cover (4) has a main part (4a) covering a rear side of the back plate (5), and an extension part (4c) extending from a circumferential edge of the main part (4a) and rotated towards a front side of the back plate (5) so that it is positioned between the back plate (5) and the cover fixing part (3d), and the first engagement element (7) fixes the extension part (4c) to the cover fixing part (3d) by passing through the extension part (4c) and engaging with the first engagement hole (3e) of the cover fixing part (3d).
