Abstract
Representatives of 2-Amino-N-(benzo[d]thiazol-2-ylsulfonyl)-3-hydroxybutanamide with the general formula I exhibit the potency to inhibit malaria threonyl-tRNA synthetase (ThrRS) at low micromolar to nanomolar concentrations. As such, they can be used as compounds for the prevention or treatment of malaria.
