INFORMATION DISPLAY FACILITY

Abstract

Task: Design an information display device that stabilizes the time from activation by a driver until the information is displayed. Solution: An information display device (100) designed for installation in a vehicle comprises a parameter detector (90), a vibration generator (170), and vibration adjusters (130 and 160). The parameter detector (90) is designed to detect a parameter (η) correlated with an actuation value of a driving control device. The vibration generator (170) is designed to vibrate the air around an occupant. The vibration adjusters (130 and 160) are designed to change the value of the vibrations generated by the vibration generator (170) according to the rate of change of the parameter per unit of time.The parameter detector (90) is designed to detect the parameter at least twice within the necessary time required from parameter input to vibration output. The vibration adjuster (130, 160) is designed, if the necessary time or longer is required to detect the parameter twice, to calculate the change value of the parameter using the parameter previously detected by the parameter detector (90).
