Abstract

A motor control device according to one aspect of the present disclosure serves to control a motor and comprises: a rotation control unit that regulates the torque of the motor to a predetermined torque, sets the motor in rotation, and regulates the torque to a low torque, which is less than the predetermined torque, until a predetermined time interval has elapsed after initiating the start-up of the motor; and an anomaly detection unit that detects an anomaly of the motor based on the rotational state of the motor when the torque is regulated to the low torque, as well as the rotational state of the motor when the torque is regulated to the predetermined torque.
