ANIMATED COMMUNICATION-BASED EFFECTS

Abstract

A method comprises receiving, using a messaging application running on a computing device, a message containing text. The method further comprises determining an animation effect based on the text, wherein the animation effect includes a first animation effect and a second animation effect. The method further comprises assigning the first animation effect to a first logical layer of a graphical user interface of the messaging application, the second animation effect to a second logical layer of the graphical user interface, and the text to a third logical layer of the graphical user interface, the third logical layer being positioned between the first and second logical layers. The method further comprises generating, by the computing device, a message animation containing the message.The procedure also includes outputting, through the computing device and for displaying, the message animation within the graphical user interface of the messaging application.
