Interface system for a wind instrument

Abstract

Interface system (1) for a wind instrument (100) with a plurality of tone holes (10), wherein the interface system (1) comprises: - a plurality of locking elements (2) assigned to the respective tone holes (10) to at least partially close them; - actuating means (3) assigned to each locking element (2) to switch them at least between an open position and a closed position; - a plurality of keys (4) each assignable to the wind instrument (100) and one or more locking elements (2) and configured to generate an activation signal (Sa) when actuated; - a processing unit (5) in signal-effective communication with the actuating means (3) and with each key (4) and configured to receive, process and combine the activation signals (Sa) and to activate the actuating means (3) according to a conversion function (Fc) of the activation signals (Sa).
