Abstract

A steering gear for a robotics corner module comprises a lower housing assembly, a middle housing assembly, an electric motor, an output shaft assembly, a gear train, and a first mounting element. The lower housing assembly comprises a lower housing and a shaft section. The middle housing assembly comprises a middle housing. The electric motor comprises a stator assembly fixed in the lower housing and a rotor assembly with a rotor shaft. The output shaft assembly comprises an output gear. The gear train comprises a first shaft assembly with a first gear and a compound gear assembly rotatably mounted on the shaft section. The compound gear assembly comprises a first gear section that meshes with the output gear and a second gear section that meshes with the first gear.The first fastening element extends through the middle housing and into the shaft section to secure the middle housing to the lower housing.
