Abstract

Task: To provide a power input circuit that can suppress fluctuations in the inrush current due to ambient temperature influences and shorten the rise time of the voltage supplied to the load. Means of solution: Equipped with a current-sensing resistor (9) that detects the current by means of a voltage generated at both ends by the inrush current, and a current-limiting switching element (Q3) whose collector is connected to the gate of a power switching element (Q2), the voltage at the base of the current-limiting switching element (Q3) changing according to a voltage generated at both ends of the current-sensing resistor (9), the gate voltage of the power switching element (Q2) being adjusted to achieve constant current operation, and a thermistor (17) with negative characteristics connected between the base and emitter of the current-limiting switching element (Q3).
