Abstract
In some embodiments, a beam-control device is provided. The device comprises: a substrate; a first lens arranged on a first surface of the substrate; and a second lens arranged on a second surface of the substrate. The second surface is opposite the first surface of the substrate. At least one of the first lens and the second lens is a tunable lens with a tunable focal spot, and the device is configured to control a beam passing through the device by tuning the tunable focal spot of the tunable lens.
