Abstract

A machine with excellent ease of operation is provided. The machine 1 includes a control unit 40, which controls the drive of a motor 3 in one of several control modes and is configured such that it is possible to select whether at least one of the several control modes is usable or not. The control mode display sections 18a-18d are configured to display only those control modes that have been selected as usable (and not those control modes that have been selected as unusable). The user can select the control modes selected as usable from among the several control modes by operating the control mode switch 16 (and cannot select the control modes selected as unusable from among the several control modes by operating the control mode switch 16).
