ESTABLISHING TRUST BETWEEN DISTRIBUTED SERVICES IN A SOFTWARE-DEFINED VEHICLE

Abstract

A method includes generating, in a computing system, a key pair for a first trust manager of the first virtual machine, wherein the key pair is bound to a current boot state of a processing circuit, and wherein the key pair is verified by each stage of a computing stack of the first virtual machine. The method further includes sending, by the first trust manager, a public key of the key pair to a second trust manager. The method further includes verifying, by the second trust manager, the first trust manager for the second virtual machine. The method further includes verifying, by the second trust manager, the first trust manager based at least partially on the public key of a first service of the first virtual machine.The procedure also includes calling, by a second service of the second virtual machine, the first service of the first virtual machine.
