Abstract

A cutting tool is provided that is excellent in chip removal capability. A cutting tool according to one aspect of the present disclosure has a body section and a first cutting section attached to the body section. The body section has a stem section located at one side of a rear end and a branch section extending from the stem section to a front end. The first cutting section has a first rear surface located aft in a direction of rotation of an axis of rotation and a first inner surface facing the axis of rotation. The branch section has a first branch section connected to the stem section and the first rear surface, and a second branch section connected to the stem section and the first inner surface.
