Abstract

In a rolling device, an element forming at least one of the inner element, outer element, and rolling elements consists of a nickel-based alloy containing 35-45 wt.% Cr, 3.7-5 wt.% Al, the remainder Ni, and unavoidable impurities. The Rockwell hardness of a surface layer of the nickel-based alloy forming at least one of the inner element, outer element, and rolling elements is 40 HRC or less after solution annealing and 58 HRC or more after precipitation hardening. The average KAM (Kernel Average Misorientation) value of the surface layer of the nickel-based alloy forming at least one of the inner element, outer element, and rolling elements is 0.35 or less after solution annealing and 0.5 or more after precipitation hardening.
