Abstract

In an air conditioning system with a heat exchanger, the performance degradation of the heat exchanger that occurs over time is reduced. The HVAC system 1 comprises a heat exchanger 3, which transfers heat between the exhaust air, which is discharged from the vehicle interior to the outside, and the outside air, which is drawn into the vehicle interior from the outside, and a housing 5 in which an exhaust air duct 5A, which directs the exhaust air into an exhaust air inlet 3A of the heat exchanger 3, an outside air duct 5B, which directs the outside air into an outside air inlet 3B of the heat exchanger 3, a return air duct 5C, which allows the return air from the vehicle interior to circulate around the heat exchanger 3, and an outlet 5D, which discharges the exhaust air that has passed through the heat exchanger 3 to the outside, are formed.Furthermore, the HVAC system 1 comprises a filter 7, which is arranged on the upstream side of the exhaust air and outside air inlet 3A, 3B of the heat exchanger 3, extending at least over the exhaust air and outside air duct 5A, 5B, 5C, and a flap 9, which regulates the amount of outside air to be introduced into the vehicle interior by changing the opening ratio of outside air duct 5B to return air duct 5C on the upstream side of the filter.
