Coupling interface between modules of an actuation system for a vehicle

Abstract

The disclosure relates to a coupling interface between a first module and a second module of a modular actuation system for a vehicle. The first module comprises a first module housing provided on a first side thereof, with a first opening extending through it in a first plane for receiving a rotatable axis. The second module comprises a second module housing, which differs from the first module housing and is provided on a second side thereof, with a second opening extending through it in a second plane for receiving the rotatable axis.The coupling interface comprises complementary snap couplers, each assigned to the second side of the second module housing and the first side of the first module housing, and serve to be brought into a snap coupling engagement by sliding the first and second module housings towards each other in an insertion direction transverse to the first and second planes.
