Abstract

A cooling device comprises a housing, a cooler arranged within a housing body and configured to cool a fluid by allowing the fluid to flow through the cooler, and a baffle plate that reduces the maximum flow velocity of the fluid entering the cooler. The cooler comprises a first plate section, which is arranged at a position closer to an inlet nozzle with respect to cooling tubes and faces the inlet nozzle, and a second plate section, which is arranged on a side opposite the first plate section, with the cooling tubes arranged between the first plate section and the second plate section.The baffle plate is designed to reduce the flow velocity of the fluid flowing to the cooling pipes at an inlet-side opening formed between the first plate section and the second plate section, through which the fluid is supplied to the cooling pipes.
