Abstract
Input key arrangement showing: a keycap a substrate, an elastic deformable shell-like structure arranged between the substrate and the keycap, wherein the elastic deformable shell-like structure has: a peripheral basal section that lies against the substrate, a vertex section that rests against the keycap, with the peripheral base section tapering towards the vertex section, and a piston-like element extending from below and away from the vertex section, wherein a free end of the piston-like element is opaque, and an optical detection arrangement that is positioned on the substrate to transmit a beam of light and to detect an interruption of the beam of light, wherein the elastic deformable shell-like structure and the optical detection arrangement are arranged in such a way as to interrupt the light beam with the free end of the piston-like element when the keycap is depressed, to deform the elastic deformable shell-like structure to cause the apex section to collapse relative to the peripheral base section, in order to move the piston-like element along a longitudinal axis of the piston-like element.
