Abstract

Battery cell comprising: an electrode assembly comprising a first tab; a housing for receiving the electrode assembly, the housing comprising a wall provided with an electrode exit hole; an electrode terminal mounted on the electrode exit hole; and a current collector positioned between the wall and the first tab and configured to connect the electrode terminal and the first tab;wherein a first recess is provided at one end of the electrode connection facing the first tab, wherein a side wall of the first recess is bent outwards so that the electrode connection is attached to the wall, and wherein the current collecting element rests against and is connected to a bottom surface of the first recess, wherein the housing comprises a cover plate and a housing body, wherein the housing body comprises a housing side wall and a housing bottom wall formed in one piece, wherein the housing side wall surrounds the housing bottom wall, wherein one end of the housing side wall is connected to the housing bottom wall and the other end of the housing side wall is enclosed to form an opening opposite the housing bottom wall, and wherein the opening is covered by the cover plate; wherein the wall is the housing bottom wall or the cover plate.
