Abstract
Ophthalmological device with a plurality of optical instruments or optical heads (5n) for measuring or evaluating at least one property of an eye (E1, E2) of a subject, wherein each instrument or head (5n) has its own optical axis (Ln), wherein the instruments or heads (5n) are mounted on a frame comprising a base (1) defining a support plane (1a) for resting on a horizontal surface, and a carousel (4) rotatable about the frame about an axis of rotation (X') parallel to the support plane (1a), wherein the instruments or heads (5n) are arranged on the carousel (4) such that their respective optical axes (Ln) are spaced from and parallel to the axis of rotation (X'), wherein the device comprises drive and control means, wherein: the carousel (4) is supported by the frame (10) such thatthat the axis of rotation (X') is movable at least in respect of a vertical direction (Z) orthogonal to the support plane (1a); wherein the control means are configured to perform selective optical alignment of the heads or instruments with one eye of the patient in a laterality direction (Y) parallel to the support plane (1a) and orthogonal to the axis of rotation (X') by means of a position adjustment of the head or instrument which combines a rotation of the carousel about the axis of rotation (X') and a displacement of the axis along the vertical direction (Z), wherein the carousel (4) is supported by the frame (10) such that the axis of rotation (X') is fixed to the frame in respect of the laterality direction (Y), and wherein at least one of the instruments or heads (5n) is mounted on the carousel (4) such that it is rotatable about its own optical instrument axis (Ln) in respect of the carousel, wherein the instrument or head is adapted to provide an inclination (β),which occurs due to a corresponding rotation of the carousel, is compensated for by means of a counter-rotation (-β) about the optical instrument axis (Ln).
