Battery, including: multiple battery cells; a current collector component comprising a buffer part and two connecting parts, wherein the buffer part is connected between the two connecting parts in a first direction and the two connecting parts are each connected to a battery cell to electrically connect both battery cells to each other; wherein the buffer part extends in a second direction beyond the connecting parts in the direction of the battery cells, the second direction being perpendicular to the first direction.
