System for the tiered, location-based delivery of digital content, comprehensive a) an avatar module that provides an introductory information output via a KL avatar in a remote context outside a defined geographic area, b) a location module that detects the presence of a user in a geographic area using at least GPS, c) a state module that switches between a remote context mode and a local mode depending on the position, d) a curation backend that, via a configuration, rolls out data on geographic areas, media assignments and state rules to a client, whereby upon entering the geographic area, further content is automatically unlocked, which the user can then access manually on site.
