Abstract

A cleaning robot characterized in that it comprises: a body; a wiping assembly comprising a cleaning unit motor, a cleaning unit, a fluid supply device, and a dirt removal device, wherein the cleaning unit motor is connected to the cleaning unit and the fluid supply device is configured to supply cleaning fluid to the cleaning unit, and wherein the dirt removal device is configured to wipe away dirt on the cleaning unit; a drive device arranged on the body and connected to the wiping assembly; wherein the drive device is capable of driving the wiping assembly along the width direction of the body such that the wiping assembly extends relative to the body from at least one side of the body, so that a part of the wiping assembly is exposed;a control assembly which is electrically connected to the drive device and is configured to control the drive device depending on the distance between a target object and the body, so that the drive device drives the wiper assembly to move in order to change the position of the wiper assembly relative to the body.
