Abstract

Display device comprising: a display panel configured to display an image; a housing in which the display panel is arranged; a viewing section arranged at a front of the display panel in the housing, where a direction in which the display panel displays the image is defined as a forward direction, wherein the viewing section makes it possible to view the interior of the housing from outside the housing;and an optical system configured to produce an image based on the display image through the viewing section, wherein a vertically upper side in a state of use of the display device is defined as the upward direction, a direction opposite to the upward direction is defined as the downward direction, a direction perpendicular to the upward direction, the downward direction and the forward direction is defined as the left-right direction, and a first lower end of the viewing section is arranged in front of or behind a first upper end of the viewing section, or a first left end of the viewing section is arranged in front of or behind a first right end of the viewing section.
