Abstract
Heating system comprising a vehicle window (1), in particular a rear window, and at least one heating device, characterized in that the vehicle window (1) is designed as a laminated glass pane or as a single glass pane, the heating device comprises as a heating element at least one IR radiation source (3) with an IR wavelength range between λ = 1.4 µm and 1.5 µm, and the IR radiation source (3) is arranged in or on a vehicle interior component (4) and furthermore the IR radiation source (3) is directed with its beam path onto at least one planar heating area (H) of the vehicle window (1) or can be aligned onto the heating area (H).
