Abstract

Liquid pump with a housing (10) forming an inlet opening (12), a pump chamber (14), an outlet nozzle (44) and a motor chamber (30), a shaft (16) rotatably mounted in the housing, on which an impeller (18) is arranged inside the pump chamber (14) and on which a rotor (34) of an electric motor (28) is arranged in a section outside the pumped medium, the rotor being surrounded by a stator (36) arranged in the motor chamber (30), characterized in that the motor chamber (30) is sealed against the pump chamber (14) by two shaft seals (46, 47) arranged axially apart from each other on the shaft (16), and that the space between the two shaft seals (46, 47) is connected to the space outside the housing via a leakage line (48).
