Abstract

Optical warning system for vehicles, with a carrier strip (2) on which several identical first light sources (3, 4) are arranged in a row, which emit light in a defined first color when activated, wherein the light source emission side (3a) of the first light sources (3), from which the light is emitted, lies in a common plane, characterized in that the warning system (1) comprises at least one second light source (4), also arranged on the carrier strip (2), which emits light in a defined second color when activated, wherein the light source emission side (3a) of the second light source (4) projects beyond the plane of the light source emission side (3a) of the first light sources (3).
