Abstract

A battery manufacturing apparatus for manufacturing a battery assembly (20) including a plurality of battery cells (10), each of which has a lead tab portion (12) electrically connected to an outside and projecting outward, and a bus bar (30) electrically connecting one or more battery cells (10) among the plurality of battery cells (10), the battery manufacturing apparatus comprising: a welding wire (210), at least a portion of which is melted to weld the wire tab portion (12) and the bus bar (30); a feeding section (200) that feeds the welding wire (210) to the lead tab section (12); a guide section (300) which contacts the welding wire (210) discharged from the feed section (200) and moves the welding wire (210) in a direction in which the lead tab section (12) extends; and a laser irradiation section (400) that irradiates the lead tab section (12), the bus bar (30) or the welding wire (210) with a laser.
