Abstract

Switching device, in particular medium-voltage switching device, comprising: - a first terminal, - a main current path (6) and a secondary current path (7) electrically connected to the first terminal, wherein the main current path has a main contact (3) and the secondary current path has a secondary contact (4), - a second terminal with at least one contact (5), - a movable switching blade (2), - wherein the switching blade (2) is arranged and configured to connect the contact of the second terminal to the main contact (3) and / or the secondary contact (4) during a switching-on operation or to disconnect them during a switching-off operation, wherein the switching blade (2) can contact the main contact (3) and the secondary contact (4) simultaneously, so that the current can commutate from the main current path (6) to the secondary current path (7) during a switching-off operation, - a circuit breaker,which is electrically arranged in the bypass path between the auxiliary contact (5) and the first terminal and has at least one moving contact (12), and - a lever with which the moving contact (12) of the circuit breaker can be actuated to open the circuit breaker, characterized by - a control cam 26 formed on the lever, - a contact element formed on the switching blade (2), wherein the switching device is designed such that the control cam (26) of the lever and the contact element of the switching blade (2) interact during at least part of a switching operation to control the position of the lever depending on the position of the switching blade (2), and - a locking device with which the movement of the lever in a position in which the circuit breaker is open is locked during a switching operation.
