Abstract

comprising a conductor end cap (1): • a housing (2) comprising: o a housing base (3) having a first channel section (30), and o a housing cover (4) having a second channel section (40), wherein the housing cover (4) can be connected to the housing base (3) in an operating position along a connecting axis (X) in a connecting direction (R) and these are held together such that the first channel section (30) and the second channel section (40) together form a conductor entry channel (5) extending axially with respect to the connecting axis (X), wherein the conductor entry channel (5) extends axially between a conductor entry opening (41) of the housing cover (4) at a first axial end (21) of the housing (2) through the entire housing cover (4) and to a base section (31) of the housing base (3) at a second axial end (22) of the housing (2) axially opposite the first axial end (21), and • a Clamping spring (6),which is mounted between the housing base (3) and the housing cover (4) such that, in a clamping position, a clamping section (60) of the clamping spring (6) projects into the conductor entry channel (5) to clamp an electrical conductor (L) inserted into the conductor entry channel (5) in the housing (2), wherein at least one section (3, 4, 7) of one housing base (3) or housing cover (4) is selectively movable relative to the other housing cover (4) or housing base (3) from the operating position to a release position, so that the clamping section (60) is moved from the clamping position to a release position in order to release the conductor entry channel (5).
