A rainwater collection device (20) comprising: a collection scoop (1) made of elastically deformable material for collecting rainwater, wherein the collection scoop (1) comprises a drain opening (1.3), a collection channel (1.2) and a sealing flange (1.1), wherein the collection channel (1.2) can be inserted / inserted into an insertion bore of a downpipe (3) such that the sealing flange (1.1) rests against the outside of the downpipe (3) in a sealing manner; a housing (2), wherein the housing (2) can be attached to the outside of the downpipe (3) such that, when the collection scoop (1) is inserted into the downpipe (3), the sealing flange (1.1) is covered and water escaping from the drain opening (1.3) can be collected.
