Mounting device (10) for non-stationary information devices, in particular for temporarily erected traffic signs (11) or information signs, with a base part (12) and with a mast receptacle (13) extending upright from the base part (12) for a mast (14) holding the information device (11), characterized in that the base part (12) comprises at least two, preferably identically designed, base plate supports (15), wherein each of the base plate supports (15) is designed in its dimensions to receive a single base plate (17) or a single stack (19) of base plates (17) arranged one above the other, and that the at least two base plate supports (15) are connected or connectable by means of a coupling device (20).
