Abstract

Device (1) for positioning a stack of labels (3) advanced in the stacking direction (2) at its front end in a labeling unit (41) for containers (44), comprising: a positioning frame (5) designed as a passage for an associated label contour (4) and retaining elements (6) attached thereto, which are designed and arranged to be adjustable transversely to the stacking direction in such a way that they position and retain the foremost label (3a) of the label stack until it is removed by overlapping with the label contour;and a tilting mechanism (7) for adjusting a lateral tilt angle (8) of the positioning frame, characterized in that the positioning frame comprises at least one eccentric wheel (9) with a horizontal axis of rotation (10) and a lateral surface (19) eccentric in this respect, which presses at least one of the retaining elements downwards towards an uppermost section (4a) of the label contour, and / or the tilting mechanism comprises a central shaft (12) which engages in the positioning frame from below and supports it in a laterally tilting manner.
