Abstract

Horizontal machine tool (10), comprising: a main frame (11); a spindle motion device (211) which is arranged on the main frame (11); a spindle head (291) which is held movable by the spindle motion device (211) in an X-axis direction, a Y-axis direction and a Z-axis direction, wherein the spindle head (291) has a horizontally extending spindle (291a); a front frame (60) which is arranged in front of the main frame (11); a rotary table (70) which is movably arranged on the front frame (60) in a W-axis direction parallel to the Z-axis direction, wherein the rotary table (70) is rotatable about an A-axis (101) parallel to the X-axis direction; and a connecting block (80) that connects the main frame (11) and the front frame (60).
